Men's Group meets Thursday nights at 7 PM outside on the patio, or in the Logia inside the chapel if it rains. Men’s Group seeks to be a community of men responding to the call to be fathers. Our men achieve this through community, reflection, and action in their call to holiness.

Men’s group seeks to be a community of men responding to the call to be fathers. This vocation rests on the foundation of our humanity. To give direction and clarity in a time of confusion, Men’s group looks to our crest.
Our motto is Vir Factum Patrem. This translates to “Man Becoming Father.”
This motto rests on a shield which is an image of the man himself. We place ourselves in a position between what we love and that which would do it harm. The shield is divided into four parts by the Cross. Our masculinity is a God-given gift but also a cross we carry in our walk with the Lord.
The four quadrants of the shield hold the models of masculinity we look to for example. These models give us our identity as men. They are the Protector, the Worker, the Monk, and the Bridegroom. All of these are dimensions of our masculinity. All of these are communal.
The Protector is the one who engages in spiritual battle alongside his brothers. He is the one who protects his home and those within his household.
The Worker is the one who builds a home. He is the one who can provide for himself and those who are dependent on him.
The Monk is the spiritual leader of the home. This spiritual authority he exercises with strength and gentleness.
The Bridegroom is the one who knows how to give his heart away. To love in a crucified love, which is never about the self, but always about the other. This is the heart which draws his beloved into the home which he builds, protects, and guides. The gift of the Lover to the beloved is life-giving. For this reason, Men’s group crest is intrinsically related to the Women’s group seal.
These models we put into practice through community, reflection, and action.
